You can only search within a specific Content Type in Sitefinity CMS; for example, when performing a search using the search box at the top center of the Content Blocks list page, only Content Blocks will be searched, and no other content type.
Additionally, you can filter a list of content:
- Click the Filter icon
. - You can sort the results list by the following criteria:
- Last modified on top
- This option is selected by default.
- Last created on top
- By title (A-Z)
- By title (Z-A)
- Filter content items by:
- Ownership - You can display content items, created only by your user.
- Status - To filter items according to their current status, click the respective status from the list.
If you want to filter items by more than one status, click Custom filter and then use
(Select status) to set your custom filter. - Outdated content - To display outdated (expired) content items only, click the Outdated filter.
Optionally, set a custom filter by clicking Custom filter and filter simultaneously by:
- Category
- Tag - You can also filter content by categories, tags, and custom classifications.
- If you have added a custom classification field to content, it appears in the filter options.
- Author
- Status - You can filter content items by their status. For example, Published and Draft.
- Date modified - You can filter content according to the date they were modified. When you click a time interval, the system displays all content items updated during this time interval. The last updated are the first in the list.
