- Accessing Image Properties:
- Start by selecting a library from the main Images page.
- In List view, click the image title to open its properties.
- Alternatively, open image properties by:
- Selecting the infobox left of the image or
- Clicking the three dots to the right
- In Thumbnail or Timeline view, hover over the image and click the check mark to access the Actions menu.
- Editable Image Properties:
- Click the gear icon to access settings.
- Use Replace File to upload a new image.
- Choose Crop, Resize, or Rotate to adjust image shape, size, or position.
- To edit margins, use the dropdown next to "Original" to preview options.
- Use the double arrow icon to resize thumbnails.
- Use the back arrow to rotate the image.
- Click Done to save or Cancel to discard changes.
- Additional Image Details:
- Edit the title, alternative text (highly recommended for accessibility), primary location, author, description, audiences, tags, and other settings.
- Be sure to Publish or Save as Draft to apply changes.
- Advanced Image Management:
- From the Actions menu, users can:
- Schedule publish/unpublish
- Move the image to another library
- View the original or all image sizes
- Embed, download, or delete the image
- View revision history
- See where the image is being used
- From the Actions menu, users can:
- Bulk Image Management:
- When selecting multiple images, users can:
- Edit shared properties
- Adjust language settings
- Assign categories and tags
- Move or delete several images at once
- When selecting multiple images, users can:
- Organizing Images:
- Within a library, use the Status and Uploaded column headers to sort images by title, status, or upload date in ascending or descending order.
