The Video Gallery widget allows you to display a list of videos on your page, with each video playable directly from the list. Videos must be uploaded to your media libraries before they can be displayed.
Prerequisites
Ensure at least one video has been uploaded.
Adding and Configuring the Widget
- Place the Video Gallery widget on your page.
- Click the Edit button in the upper-right corner of the widget.
- In the Video Gallery configuration window, choose to:
- Select videos from your existing libraries.
- Upload a new video.
Selecting Videos to Display
Navigate to the Content tab to choose which videos to show. You have the following options:
Library Selection
- From all libraries Displays all uploaded and published videos.
- From selected libraries only… Displays videos from specific libraries. Click Select to choose one or more libraries.
- From currently opened library Displays all published videos from the currently opened library.
Narrowing the Selection
Under Narrow the selection, refine which videos appear using the following filters:
- All published videos(default) Displays all videos based on your library selection.
- Selection of videos… Use one or more of the following filters to narrow results:
- Categories… Choose categories to filter videos.
- Tags… Select tags to refine the video list.
- Date… Choose a predefined time interval or select Custom range… to specify a date range for video creation.
Note: You can combine multiple filters (e.g., categories and dates) to further refine the displayed videos.
