When I try to open a locked document link or access links within it, I get this error: “The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.” How can I resolve this?
The link may have the incorrect URL - if it was copied from the document properties page, it will have the URL for the CMS - http://cms.tri-admin.com - and the URL will need to be modified manually to the URL for your Web site.*
- Go to Content>Documents & Files
- Open the document you are trying to access
- Verify the URL you have linked on the page is correct.
- Copy the URL to add the link to your page
- Paste the link into a separate text editor (i.e., notepad)
- Replace "cms.tri-admin.com" with your website’s domain name, prefixed with www. Example: "www.modental.org" Note: You can only link to published items.
- Copy the updated URL. You can now use it in a content block on the page wherever you need to manually link to the document or file.
- Then retest to make sure the link works.
