Create a Rotator Slide

To create a Rotator slide, often called a hero slide, perform the following steps:

1. Create a New Slide
   • Go to the Content dropdown.
   • Select Slides.

• Click the “Create a Slide” button.

Enter Slide Details

1.  
   • Title - Not displayed on the Web site, the internal title for the list page, required
   • Main and Secondary Text - Title
   • Secondary Text - Body text; appears on the left side
   • Featured Image - Image, recommended dimensions of 620 x 263 pixels
   • Video URL - If playing a video, enter the URL of the externally hosted video (e.g. YouTube)
   • Button Text - Text label for the button
   • Link URL - URL for the button
   • New Window - Select from the drop-down list if the Link URL will open in a new or same browser window or tab
   • Justify - Text justification
   • This is a Private Link - If the Link URL is to a locked page, check this box to display a lock symbol, and note this does not lock the destination page 
2. Add a Featured Image (optional)
   • Recommended size: 620 x 263 pixels for proper display.
3. Add a Video URL (optional)
   • Note: If a video is included, the Call to Action (CTA) button will not display.
4. Add a Button (optional)
   • Enter Button Text (text will appear on the button).
   • Add a full URL in the Link URL field (must include “http://” or “https://”)

5. Customize Display
   • Choose how the slide will open (e.g., in a new window).
   • Select a Theme (defined color palette).

6. Finalize the Slide
   • Click Publish, Save as Draft, or use Actions for more options.
